“Absolutely wonderful Ethiopian restaurant . Vegan dishes were varied and delicious, the lamb was beautifully spiced with tumeric and Ethiopian butter. The staff were really warm and welcoming. Highly highly recommend. It should be full every night!”
“We keep returning to this place because it offers superb, hearty, and nutritious food at the best value for money. For only £13, you can enjoy a variety of delicious vegan stews and warm salads served with Injera bread. The staff is kind and hospitable, yet does not request a service charge. Highly recommended!”
“It's not the best Ethiopian restaurant I tried. They don't have a diverse platter option except for the vegan, and the stews do not seem to be cooked in a traditional manner either. They are more like really cooked with a jar of curries for faster results. Injera was fine, though.”
“Incredible platter of food that was perfect for our group of four! A quiet, wonderful spot that is less visited than it should be. Incredible food, good options, and great spice levels that actually deliver a bit of a kick if you ask. It’s also incredibly affordable.”
“We came here for lunch on a cold rainy Sunday with our 2 kids. What a gem. Super friendly service and a wide range of veggie/vegan options. We ordered 2x vegan platters for the variety - it was generous and delicious! More than sufficient injera alongside yellow split peas, epic red lentils, spring greens, cabbage and green beans. All perfectly cooked and seasoned. What a treat. Our 6 year old was also keen to try the Foul - we polished it and he said it was one of the nicest things he's ever eaten. We ended with traditional coffee served from a beautiful pot. Such a nice way to end the meal, and only £10pp. No complaints. Highly recommend”
